Tom Petersson TPT4

Mike Lull TPT4

Mike Lull Custom Guitars is thrilled to introduce the Tom Petersson Signature Model T-Bass TPT4, developed to the precise specifications of Cheap Trick's legendary bass player.

Tom Petersson stands as one of rock's most innovative bass pioneers. Tom was the first bassist ever to commission and play a 12-string bass guitar, later used by others including Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament.

In September 2009 Cheap Trick began an extended run of 25 critically-acclaimed live performances of The Beatles' landmark Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. With audio supervision by renowned Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick, Cheap Trick splendidly rocked the Las Vegas Paris Theater night after night, and Tom once again displayed his innovative bass chops on a custom-built Mike Lull T4 bass.

The culmination of this creative relationship is our beautiful Tom Petersson Signature Model T-Bass TPT4, featuring a gloss-white finish with gold knobs, pickguard and hardware, along with a unique pickup placement meticulously specified by Tom to achieve his signature sound.
