“Heirloom” Instruments
The Heirloom Edition instruments came about after literal years of demand for authentically-aged instruments. Truthfully, we didn’t want to jump into this territory without significant R&D and beautiful, realistic results. We finally feel we’ve accomplished this and have officially launched Heirloom Editions.
Everyone has their own techniques for intentional aging, we derive our inspiration from the thousands of vintage instruments that we’ve worked on in our full-service repair and restoration shop. The ‘59 Ps, the ‘62 Strats, you know, the holy grails. These Heirloom Edition instruments are carefully and tastefully aged to represent the authentic wear we find on these real-life examples.
The proprietary methods employed in order to achieve these types of worn nitrocelluse finishes take an exorbitant amount of time. They never come out exactly like another - so they are all truly unique, one-of-a-kind instruments all in their own right.
We do not take orders for these instruments as they are sold on an an extremely limited, one-off basis. When they are sold, they’re sold.
